We began with nature (and the people that emerge from it) as our inspiration. A place where we can have the highest quality of life with as minimal impact to the environment, by getting smarter about the systems and structures that can empower us to become stewards that bring healthier, happier and more vigorous life to people, places and planet.

Starting off as a European Commission Erasmus+ project we are expanding our horizons to extend and amplify our program by replicating and scaling our pilot through providing access to informal, non-traditional tools and methods, including bridging gaps in mobility, competency and cohesion.

We will gather In the heart of Portugal's regenerative belt where we will be immersed in interactive on-site village life.

Through stakeholders like Systems Innovation Network, we apply and leverage nodes and the web often found in a relationship of a school of fish, or in swallow murmuration, to unlock the holistic power beyond the sum of its parts, unleashing a higher solutions for both our students and stakeholders.

All this is combined in our curriculum which is designed to focus on our inner development goals along side the tangible skills of social intelligence, critical thinking, and complex problem-solving for community, housing, food, energy, water and waste, and to properly steward paradise Earth and it's inhabitants.

TEN DAYS OF TRANSFORMATION - TOOLS, METHODS & RESOURCES

DAILY

Non-traditional education and learning to learn methodology: Sense & sense-making, energisers and refreshers, reflection, culture exchanges, teasers, gamification and REST.

Day 1: Arrival

Trains, planes and automobiles. We take a day to settle in, and ground our presence.

Day 2: Inner Engineering, Weaving Community & Augmenting Technology - Communication

Setting the foundation we begin to know ourselves, how to relate to others, and how leveraging ICTs, Media Ecology and technology like AI can accelerate how we learn and grow.

Day 3: Inspired by Nature & Systems Thinking- Logistics

Applicable Knowledge Development (to be utilised in the following days) with Biomimicry Institute, Network Science & Informal Education (social intelligence, critical thinking, complex problem solving). Learn how to think and build like a CELL.

Day 4: Systems & Structures. - Infrastructure

Systems & Structures: engineering, architetcture, materials, buildings, inputs & outputs (energy exchanges), communication, logistics, resources.

Day 5: The Holistic Nexus (The Holy Trinity) - Food, Energy, Water

How do we supply the community (cell) with all that it neds to thrive?

Day 6: Stewardship: Creating Cities, Societies, Ecosystems and Our Species...Like Cells.

What does it mean to be a leader, to be accountable, responsible, authentic and vulnerable?

Day 7: Waste + Circular

How to turn trash into treasure, and what is circularity?

Day 8: Regeneration

A day to let it all sink in and explore the surrounding culture
